Sales Representative in Construction Equipment Department (Kiev)

Responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of sales or marketing experience.
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state drivers license within 60 days of employment.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Present and sell company products to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows.
  • Follow-up for collection of payment.
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires significant local travel and may require occasional overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work.

Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this position is to provide after sales support to customers in terms of equipment service and parts sales.  Reporting to Technical Director, is fully responsible for managing parts and service operations, market development, customer relations, management of his/her parts sales and service team.  To be effective, the Branch Manager must establish an understanding of the following objectives and accountabilities:

Objectives & Accountabilities for Branch Manager:

  • Participate in Regional Business Plan and Budget preparation and market analysis and forecast for parts and service part
  • Obtain financial and market targets for the year (parts and labor turnover, outstanding receivables, margins, market shares, labor utilization rates, cost management)
  • Organize and manage service and parts sales day to day operations according to standards and procedures  via parts and service managers reporting to him/her
  • Improve aftersales support quality and value to the customer
  • Be actively involved in customer relations/ customer base development, complaints management
  • Ensure liaison with Machine sales
  • Provide managerial and financial reports timely, accurately and in good quality

Product Support Manager (Moscow)

  • Responsible for the National Branch Service & Parts performance in the North, Central & South Regions to meet the nominated OEM agricultural equipment Dealer Standards while complying with the Company’s policy, procedures & guidelines.
  • Responsible to create & develop a structured staff training & development plan designed to provide sustainable support and growth for the operation by enhancing the skills and capabilities of the Service & Parts Sales employees in agricultural equipment standards & procedures.
  • Liaise with the customers on a regular ongoing basis to establish and grow long term value added relationships that enhance both current and future business opportunities

The Product Support Manager will develop and control the organisation to ensure the following key functions are performed:

  • Management of OEM equipment maintenance standards, policy & guidelines using a structured Company’s approach that meets the OEM benchmarks in providing quality Service & Parts Support to the Customers Equipment ensuring high performance, reliability & Customer Satisfaction
  • Development & continuous improvement of the Service Operation, Administration & Parts Standard Operating Procedures to support the established guidelines & tolerance times that minimise operational losses & ensure Customer Satisfaction
  • Management of the customer interface for new and existing equipment to minimise risk and maximize returns, and responsible for ensuring compliance with the terms of the Customer Services Agreement & CSA Financial Performance.
  • Continue to develop existing long term relationships with suppliers to ensure business opportunities mature to provide mutual benefit.
  • Expected to travel extensively throughout the Regions to monitor product Support performance & mentor the subordinates.
  • To recognize business opportunities to expand & grow the business in line with the Company objective of becoming the FIRST CHOICE PARTNER
  • To monitor, meet, or exceed all Product Support financial targets.
  • The Product Support Manager will report to the Managing Director who requires regular Product Support Department performance reviews.
